COVID-19, being our biggest battle that we are facing right now, the whole country is greatly affected by the outbreak causing restrictions and undying hardships. Our safety, health and economy are at risk. The continues growth of the number of cases here, in our country caused much longer chaos and severe threat.
Padilla Reefervan Corporation(PRC) is fully committed with the National and Local government, up to the smallest group of institutions in battling COVID-19.
As part of our preparation, the management developed and released an Interim guideline for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 within our vicinity, that is based on the IATF guidelines. We adapted most of the safety and health protocols of the Department of Health and Department of Labor and Employment. PRC Management took the following precautionary measures at all sites (Depot and Garage) to protect our employees and other parties connected with us.
Spread Awareness – We manage to effectively inform our employees, equip them with proper knowledge about the COVID-19 and remind them our health and safety protocols should always be followed (Inside and Outside our premises).
Reducing Transmission – Compliance to Heath declaration form, temperature check, social distancing, skeletal work force, transportation, sanitation area, face mask and face shield are all being implemented, and monitored at all times. Scheduled disinfection is also in place to prevent the spread of virus.
Mitigation of Risk Infection – We believe that the risk of infection is very high and as part of our preparation, in the event that our employee is suspected to have COVID-19, the management established precise protocols to effectively handle this situation. Immediate action will be done in no time to lessen the risk of transmission. Confirmatory test will be executed, quarantine period will be monitored, and contract tracing will be performed. We will immediately coordinate to LGU’s and health authorities for assistance in handling the whole process.
Through this strategic safety and health practices as part of our business continuity plan, we manage to support and continue our operations and efficiently provide services to our clients up until today.
